Guppytraders.com Pty Ltd’s founder and director is Daryl Guppy. He trades in the equity and related derivatives markets as an aggressive private position trader. The 36 Strategies of the Chinese For Financial Traders is his most recent book. He is the author of numerous publications, including Trading Asian Shares and Market Trading Tactics, Better Trading, and Better Stock Trading, as well as Share Trading and Trading Tactics, Bear Trading, and Chart Trading (also available in Chinese as) (Also available in Italian as Lo specialista del Trading.) Snapshot Trading analyzes trading tactics for the short period. He created the Metastock, OmniTrader, and other charting systems’ Guppy Multiple Moving Average Indicator. He offers approved training for the Singapore Stock Exchange and the Singapore Society of Remisiers. He was chosen to serve on the Australian Government Shareholders and Investors Advisory Council as a founding member. On CNBC Asia Squawk Box, he frequently provides technical analyst commentary and serves as a guest host.
He makes trading decisions mostly based on chart and real-time market data as a technical trader. He is the author of the weekly technical analysis tutorial email Tutorials in Applied Technical Analysis, which explains the methods and illustrates their use on live markets. The newsletter is available in editions for Australia, Asia & China, and India, with a focus on regional market solutions and trade education in each case.
He regularly contributes to Your Trading Edge, the magazine of the Sydney Futures Exchange, Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities, Active Trader, Working Money, Bridge Trader, Shares and Personal Investment in Australia, Smart Investor in Singapore, The Edge Business Weekly, and Personal Money in Malaysia.
