Technical Analysis Day trading
How to understand about technical analysis: Learn about technical analysis
In finance, technical analysis is an analysis methodology for forecasting the direction of prices through the study of past market data, primarily price and volume.
Behavioral economics and quantitative analysis use many of the same tools of technical analysis, which,
being an aspect of active management, stands in contradiction to much of modern portfolio theory.
The efficacy of both technical and fundamental analysis is disputed by the efficient-market hypothesis, which states that stock market prices are essentially unpredictable.

About Author
Greg Capra
In the late 1980s, I immersed myself in learning what moved the markets – and why. Through what was mostly trial and error at the time, I realized that the widely accepted indicator-based mythology of technical analysis, which is still taught by the majority of education firms today, simply did not work.
Trying to determine the direction of prices from a derivative of the actual prices (indicators) makes no sense. Think about the fact that there are hundreds of technical analysis indicators to choose from. Then there is an endless combination of settings that could be used to adjust the indicator. This approach is too subjective and confusing.
I call my approach to invest and trading “Techno-Fundamentals.” It combines Market Internals, Inter-market Analysis, and Technical Analysis.
