Description
Four difficult Tabata programs plus yoga and toning sessions total seven workouts. Fast-paced cardio and targeted toning are used in each Tabata workout to target a different part of the body. Upper, lower, total-body, or core are the options. You will exercise vigorously for 20 seconds, then “relax” for 10 seconds, as is the case with all Tabata exercises (repeated eight times, before moving on to a different series). While some sequences incorporate toning and aerobic “intervals,” most do so naturally (for example, jump squats that train the legs or “knee thrusts with a hop” that work the abs). Although Chris frequently provides a lower-impact choice, the cardio is typically more impact. Fitness stalwarts like push-ups, lunges, and cycling are used for toning.
