Aquaponics The First 12 Months from Murray Halam

It’s much more exciting because it’s about our Ecofilms system. We chose to capture its creation from beginning to end and its positive and poor points throughout the course of 6 Months, the important period for Aquaponics systems as they grow, when it was installed more than a year ago.
Summer, Autumn, and Winter made up that time period, so we chose to wait and track its progress over the course of a full year while having Murray Hallam check the system around once a month and provide feedback on its progress.

We wanted to learn about how an aquaponics system grows from start to end, including all the ups and downs a new user would experience because our understanding of the subject was still pretty limited. The last step was actually harvesting and eating your fish, which is something we didn’t really plan to do. We never anticipated our fish would grow larger than goldfish because they were so little when we originally bought them. But they did develop. Additionally, we wanted to provide a true representation of what it would have been like to do anything without any prior experience with fish rearing or plant cultivation. The narrative would come to an end if every fish perished. The development of our system was something we planned to document and incorporate on the Aquaponics Secrets DVD as a rolling feature. But when we were filming the Secrets video, we came to the realization that this was a very different narrative. It had its own momentum. Each fish was developing normally. It was a wonderful experience to watch the plants literally spring out of the growbeds like they were on steroids.

We were successful in growing items that we had never grown before or that were challenging to cultivate. veggies, such as broccoli. A seedling was planted in the grow bed, and that was all. Just now, the system took control. The broccoli floret appeared a month or two later. No need for sprays or insecticides. This aquaponics method is actually quite effective! It makes sense why those who used such a method became addicted. So as the months passed, we continued to document our method.

We eventually accumulated enough information to produce a superb documentary. One that would function best as a distinct title and stand alone. Our system was never intended to be filmed as a separate title, but it did, and the journey was well worth the wait.
We’re still debating whether to make it available as a DVD title or a digital download file. perhaps both. If you’d rather watch it online, let us know. Murray is an excellent presenter, and this title effectively depicts the development of an aquaponics system from conception to completion. After a year, we felt like industry experts!
