For whom is “Digital Agency Insiders” intended?
Dear fellow owner of a digital agency,
If you’re like me, you can’t spend every day of the week traveling to meet and close business with clients in your hometown.
I closed my first 24 local clients. working hard. sending out doughnuts to start the conversation and finishing them with a face-to-face encounter.
But soon, that was no longer comprehensible.
I needed to start growing my business, but I just didn’t have the time to continue prospecting locally.
I also discovered that the clients that would wind up spending $20–$100,000 with me annually weren’t normally the kinds of companies I would encounter in my community.
The issue was that the majority of those giving lectures on how to develop an agency into something serious weren’t really trustworthy.
I became dissatisfied and worn out after purchasing every course and program known to man on how to start and expand a digital firm.
That’s when I made the decision to alter my plan of action.
“I needed to quit purchasing courses if I wanted to develop a successful digital agency from scratch. I needed to go out and “intern” with successful agencies, not stay inside.”
So I began to delve further.
I got online and began browsing the footers of all the websites of nearby businesses I could discover. I started examining the top social media accounts. I started examining the top local companies with the most effective advertisements listed in the Google search results.
After I completed that.
I started looking into the businesses that were assisting these neighborhood businesses.
I then got up the phone and began phoning these digital marketing agencies, asking for something really basic.
I would enquire:
Can I interview you for one hour about how your agency operates in exchange for payment?
My life would be dramatically altered by what I learnt from these Successful Agency owners. I started paying attention to what these successful business owners were doing in the real world rather than following notions from online courses.
What did they teach me, then, that wasn’t included in the courses I purchased?
It was easy.
On every call I made, I asked them ten straightforward questions. After they responded, I really went in to learn the specifics of how their agency operates in practice. I was persistent.
These are the 10 questions I ask each successful agency owner I meet.
I’m always on the lookout for companies doing significant work online that don’t share their expertise with others and remain anonymous (but are hiding in the background and not teaching others). I locate them, give them a call, and offer to pay them to respond to the interview’s 10 questions, which are listed below.
How does your Core Service operate?
– What hardware or software do you need to do that?
– What is your price structure for that service?
What specific market(s) do you target?
– How do you initially get in front of potential customers?
– How does your sales funnel for “new clients” look?
– How do you integrate new customers?
– Do you take any particular measures to entice returning customers?
– Which feature of this model is your favorite?
– What about this model do you find least appealing?
