Salepage: Jonatas Novaes – The Flat Half Guard
“With BJJ champion Jonatas Novaes’ incredible Flat Half Guard, you’ll never again find yourself on the ground! One of the most original and creative positions ever featured in any BJJ instructional series to date is Jonatas Novaes’s Flat Half Guard, which is brand-new from World Martial Arts. Being stuck in a “flat half guard” is similar to being mounted in that your back, shoulders, and head are all pinned to the mat.
Jonatas would frequently find himself in this situation while sparring with bigger opponents, pinned to the ground and battling from his back. In order to escape, sweep, and surrender from the “flat half,” as he began to refer to it, Jonatas began to design a sequence of maneuvers. He has been so good at this stance over the years that he now flattens himself out very frequently, which allows him to surprise and attack his unprepared opponents.
Jonatas will teach you all you need to know to battle and prevail from the Flat Half in this DVD series! You will be taught all of the grips, sweeps, reversals, and submissions that will allow you to win from the flat half, totaling over 70 techniques over the whole course. This is another another World Martial Arts exclusive and the must-have BJJ series of the year since Jonatas personally utilized every technique on it in countless BJJ and MMA battles.
