Information to add: Masatake Fujita, shihan Aikikai, 8 dan, was born on April 21, 1937, in Shinkyo (now Chanachun), Manchuria, which was under Japanese control at the time. He relocated to Sapporo in 1948. (Hokkaido). He enrolled at Takushoku University in 1956. He started going to the Aikido Hombu Dojo to study in November of the same year. He first learned taijutsu, taekwondo, and jujutsu before beginning to practice aikido. He studied aikido under Tamura Sensei, Kanetsuka Sensei, and Fujita Sensei for more than 30 years. Recently, Bakas Sensei oversaw the activities of aikido associations in the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and the Republic of Tatarstan. He also served as the Secretary General of the IPAAF (International Organization for the Development and Dissemination of Aikido Aikikai).
