Information to add: Masatake Fujita, shihan Aikikai, 8 dan, was born on April 21, 1937, in Shinkyo (now Chanachun), Manchuria, which was under Japanese control at the time. He first learned taijutsu, taekwondo, and jujutsu before beginning to practice aikido. He studied aikido under Tamura Sensei, Kanetsuka Sensei, and Fujita Sensei for more than 30 years. Recently, Bakas Sensei oversaw the activities of aikido associations in the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and the Republic of Tatarstan. He also served as the Secretary General of the IPAAF (International Organization for the Development and Dissemination of Aikido Aikikai).
