Description
According to research, 80–90% of communication is nonverbal. A significant innovation is Michael’s breakdown of the 21 patterns of what one can accomplish with their eyes, voices, bodies (including gestures and location), and breathing. The majority of the patterns are quite true across cultures, which is astonishing.
According to the research, there are the following distinctions between nonverbal communication as a science and an art: The science involves the gathering of information (i.e., the what of communication) and a variety of nonverbal techniques and interventions to communicate the information (i.e., the how of communication). The perception and timing of when to communicate the what and how of communication are the elements of art.
Michael’s finding relies heavily on the emphasis on breathing. The age-old question of “How does the practitioner know if one has permission to contact with another person?” may be behaviorally addressed thanks to him. The other person is under stress if their respiration is rapid and shallow, and the practitioner does not have permission to treat them. On the other hand, if the patient is calm and breathing deeply from the abdomen, the practitioner is welcome to treat them. This research provides behavioral support for what the majority of us already know. Some typical non-verbal communication pattern applications are covered in the second part of the book.
The most popular modification is to the Getting to Yes win-win template by Fisher & Ury to a useful micro level. There are 21 patterns that make up all non-verbal communication, just as there are 26 letters that serve as the building blocks of all speech.

NLP online course
So what is NLP?
NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Neuro refers to your neurology;
Linguistic refers to language; programming refers to how that neural language functions.
In other words, learning NLP is like learning the language of your own mind!
NLP is the study of excellent communication–both with yourself, and with others.
It was developed by modeling excellent communicators and therapists who got results with their clients.
NLP is a set of tools and techniques, but it is so much more than that.
It is an attitude and a methodology of knowing how to achieve your goals and get results
