You will see and hear the when, where, why, and how Mike enters the trade based upon the eBook setup. In addition, he gives his targets and trade management on most of these. Also, these are not cherry picked trades. As you will see, some just didn’t work out, and you will see and hear how and why he exited the trade. New set-ups have been added to this updated course!

What is forex?

Quite simply, it’s the global market that allows one to trade two currencies against each other.

If you think one currency will be stronger versus the other, and you end up correct, then you can make a profit.

If you’ve ever traveled to another country, you usually had to find a currency exchange booth at the airport, and then exchange the money you have in your wallet into the currency of the country you are visiting.

Foreign Exchange
You go up to the counter and notice a screen displaying different exchange rates for different currencies.

An exchange rate is the relative price of two currencies from two different countries.

You find “Japanese yen” and think to yourself, “WOW! My one dollar is worth 100 yen?! And I have ten dollars! I’m going to be rich!!!”
When you do this, you’ve essentially participated in the forex market!

You’ve exchanged one currency for another.

Or in forex trading terms, assuming you’re an American visiting Japan, you’ve sold dollars and bought yen.

Currency Exchange

Before you fly back home, you stop by the currency exchange booth to exchange the yen that you miraculously have left over (Tokyo is expensive!) and notice the exchange rates have changed.

It’s these changes in the exchange rates that allow you to make money in the foreign exchange market.

Mike Reed

I began my training career in 1982, almost 30 years ago, and still trade nearly every day. I learned to trade off of a ticker tape, first on the old FNN business channel and then in the early years when it was bought out by CNBC. I would plot 15 minute intervals on a paper chart, which stretched across nearly 18 feet of office wall space. I took an interest in technical analysis, despite my college education and “random walk” that was spewed by my college professors. I developed numerous technical indicators to spot market turning points, on both a very short-term basis, and longer-term basis through much trial and error as the PC was just becoming of age. In the early 90s I participated in online investment forums that were provided by prodigy and GENIE network just a few years before the Internet became big. In 1996 I began writing my nightly “RBI trading service” which was named after my “Reed buy signal” that I developed. That had a very wide readership, and about 2006 I started TradeStalker.com. I give a nightly update, with the market outlook and the important support/resistance areas that are expected to be in play that day. I also give guidance via instant message to members intraday. I have one of the best-selling books on trading on the Internet, “Read the Greed”, that can be found on our website along with other educational material. Two times a year I offer a training camp, a five day “no holds barred” session where I teach members about everything I know about trading, and also answer any and all questions sent my way.
