About Author
Phil Morse
As the founder of the Digital DJ Tips website and school, Phil is the “face” of the company. A DJ since 1987, in his professional career Phil played 1000s of gigs in clubs, on the radio, mobile, corporate and for charity, and guested across the UK and Europe including at Privilege in Ibiza (the biggest club in the world).
He started out DJing on vinyl, but when digital arrived, Phil was an early adopter, leading to his reviewing early digital DJing systems for iDJ Magazine in the UK. Phil’s first-hand understanding of all the changes that have happened in DJing underpins the Digital DJ Tips ethos of helping anyone become a great DJ or DJ/producer, whatever DJ equipment they have access to and wherever they may be in the world.
Nowadays, Phil works at Digital DJ Tips full time, but he keeps right up to date with the DJ world as a writer, reviewer and content creator for the Digital DJ Tip website, and also through devising and delivering training courses for the school. You can also hear him interviewing movers and shakers in dance music on his weekly podcast, Tales From The Dancefloor.
Phil’s passions – DJing, writing, teaching, entrepreneurship – have proved a great fit for his position as CEO of the Digital DJ Tips, and since the company’s inception in 2010, Phil has guided it to its current position as the biggest online DJ school in the world.
