The series provides a foundation in the Filipino martial arts, as taught to renowned expert Rick Young by Guro Dan Inosanto. Each volume focuses on a specific area, clearly demonstrating a series of movements and drills which can be practised to improve your combative skills and place you on the path to becoming an accomplished fighter. Rick will guide you in the safe use of weapons and help minimise your risk of injury. In this DVD, essential flow drills for long, middle and close range single stick training are shown. Disarms, locks and take-downs are demonstrated from the standing position and submissions from the ground are also explained clearly and effectively.

In recent centuries, since the advent of modern science, most medicine has become a combination of art and science (both basic and applied, under the umbrella of medical science).
While stitching technique for sutures is an art learned through practice, the knowledge of what happens at the cellular and molecular level in the tissues being stitched arises through science.
