The Fight Compass is for both beginners and advanced fighters. No matter if you want to improve your striking game for sparring, competition or even self-defense, this DVD is for you. In this DVD Rodney identifies 2 of the 4 major styles of sparring and shows you how to develop that style in your own personal game.
In part 1 of the Fight Compass DVD you will be introduced to the 4 predominate strategies used by 2 of the major styles of fighting, namely the Pressurer & Runner Styles of fighting. Each strategy is covered first by instruction, teaching you how to integrate it into your game, followed by a live sparring demonstration of that strategy in action.
The Pressurer Style is recognized by strategic forward pressure. Pressurers are the battle tanks of the fighting styles; Pressurers have presence, guts and are fearless. They know how to control space between them selves and their opponents and are always poised to take advantage of any weakness the opponent presents.
The Runner Style is fast, evasive and deceptive. Like a pack of Wild African Dogs, the Runner methodically tears its opponent down by using continues in and out attacks. Runners are hard to pin down, frustrate their opponents and lure them into a false sense of confidence.
In addition there is added bonuses of Rodney talking about his approach to sparring and how to get the most out of this DVD.
To be a complete fighter, to spar at your best, to be a winner, you need to not only know how to identify the 4 major styles of fighting. But you also need to know how to develop each one of those styles and how to use them to be the best. This DVD will show you how!
Health and Medical course
More information about Medical:
Medicine is the science and practice of establishing the diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
Medicine encompasses a variety of health care practices evolved to maintain and restore health by the prevention and treatment of illness.
Contemporary medicine applies biomedical sciences, biomedical research, genetics, and medical technology to diagnose, treat, and prevent injury and disease,
typically through pharmaceuticals or surgery, but also through therapies as diverse as psychotherapy, external splints and traction, medical devices, biologics, and ionizing radiation, amongst others.
Medicine has been around for thousands of years, during most of which it was an art (an area of skill and knowledge) frequently having connections to the religious and
philosophical beliefs of local culture. For example, a medicine man would apply herbs and say prayers for healing, or an ancient philosopher and physician would apply bloodletting according to the theories of humorism.
In recent centuries, since the advent of modern science, most medicine has become a combination of art and science (both basic and applied, under the umbrella of medical science).
While stitching technique for sutures is an art learned through practice, the knowledge of what happens at the cellular and molecular level in the tissues being stitched arises through science.
