The Samurai Spirit television series is a voyage into the realm of martial arts.
Nicholas Pettas (3 Dan Kyokushinkai Karate), the chief skeptic, made the decision to visit various Aikido dojo to personally witness the efficacy of this martial art as practiced by senior masters:
Ryuichi Omori Sensei, Shodokan Aikido, 6th Dan (founded by Kenji Tomiki)
Sensei Tsuneo Ando (8th Dan) Yoshinkan Aikido The current leader of Aikido Yoshinkan is RyuYasuhisa Shioda Sensei (8th Dan), the son of Gozo Shioda, the man who founded the school. Students Miksfayter and Nicholas Pettas karateka also had the opportunity to practice the Omori Sensei method.
The straightforward, condensed, and somewhat basic plot of this movie is extremely different.
By employing motion analyzer motions to demonstrate the dynamics and direction of the participants’ bodies in motion, Hideo Takaoka, Head Research Institute, also demonstrated how an aikidoka may effectively utilize his opponent’s strength against him.
