Small-Circle Jujitsu – Volume 1: Foundations is a DVD that teaches Professor Wally Jay’s unique small-circle jujitsu self-defense skills. Professor Wally Jay, a Black Belt Hall of Fame member, is one of the few martial artists to construct a combat philosophy and implement it into his system. Professor Jay received his 10th dan in jujitsu from martial arts instructor Juan Gomez. He is also a judo sixth dan under Ken Kawachi.

In recent centuries, since the advent of modern science, most medicine has become a combination of art and science (both basic and applied, under the umbrella of medical science).
While stitching technique for sutures is an art learned through practice, the knowledge of what happens at the cellular and molecular level in the tissues being stitched arises through science.
