William Vandry is a black belt in BJJ after 12 years of practice. In Austin, Texas, he presently owns and operates Vandry BJJ, where he offers a variety of classes for adults, teens, and children. Since 1996, Vandry has competed in several Pan-American Jiu-jitsu tournaments and has taken home gold and silver medals. The head instructor of Vandry and well-known BJJ sixth degree black belt Carlos Machado has called the Austin, Texas, gym a “hotbed of intelligent pupils who routinely battle for the Machado Team.”
