Bagua Yin Style – Lion Xie Peiqi, M.D. Yin Fu, a senior student of Dong Haichuan, established Yin style baguazhang.

Fighting theory, postures, use, external look, and internal developmental techniques all stem from and are consistent with the Book of Changes.
Yin type bagua is considered as the “hard palm” among all bagua styles. Its actions are forceful and energetic, employing piercing palm point striking techniques.
When the hands go out, Yin style is described to be “cold, sharp, and rapid,” emphasizing direct force and possessing an abundance of shaking strength. The “ox tongue palm” hand form is the fundamental hand shape utilized in Yin style (four fingers held out together, thumb tucked in).
