Description
There will be a project or theme for images to be submitted for review each week. You may contribute already-taken images or create new ones every week for each theme. This will enable me to address particular issues that I believe are crucial in a documentary family photo session. Additionally, I’ll urge you to ask me 2 questions in total every week so I can personally respond to them. While the Q&A can cover any issue pertaining to photography and business, I am asking that the photographs be relevant to the particular subjects, ideally brand-new photos. You will be added to Facebook Study Hall before the class. You can find all the information you need, submission links, and a collection of prepared films covering each of the six lessons on the resource page located inside the study hall.

About Author
Akira Lewis
Kirsten is a Denver, Colorado-based documentary family photographer, although she travels all over the world for her work, from New Zealand to Dubai, Brazil to Canada, Italy to Hawaii. Despite having been a photographer for almost fifteen years, it was her teaching on Creative Live that truly helped her approach to documentary family photography become more popular than the typical family picture.
She has been assisting photographers to create their own distinctive voice by embracing their own experiences and encouraging them to build a personal point of view. She has been mentoring photographers globally, not just in the field of family photography. Kirsten’s speeches are renowned for causing you to laugh one minute and cry the next, motivating her audience to face their fears, recognize their anxieties, and move on. It is her role as a mother and wife to her daughter Byrdie Mae and husband street photographer Gregory Bethmann that brings her the most pride and joy, despite her many accomplishments, including being regularly featured on the Huffington Post, interviews all over the world, and listing as one of the top 100 photographers on Fearless Photographers. That and any of the numerous Scrabble wins, of course.
