An in-depth look at the life and art of one of the foremost masters of Aikido, Christian Tissier, 7th dan, is provided in this one-of-a-kind DVD. Tissier first learned aikido as a young child in France in 1962, and he later spent eight years studying the martial art with several of the best teachers in Japan at the Aikikai Hombu Dojo in Tokyo. He brought a new style of Aikido with him when he returned to his home France, and it quickly caught the attention of practitioners all around Europe. One of the two significant Aikido associations in France, the FFAAA, is now led by Tissier. At the International Aikido World Congress, he was the only foreign teacher.
