With degrees in both medicine and epidemiology, Monica Sharma spent more than 20 years working for the UN. She currently works as a global practitioner and specialist in leadership development for fair and sustainable transformation. She collaborates with the UN, colleges, management organizations, governments, corporations, the press, and civil society groups. She holds the Tata Chair Professor position at the Mumbai-based Tata Institute of Social Sciences. More than 250 of her publications have been published and presented by her in journals and on a global scale.

In this first session, Andrew will describe the current global crisis as a “Kali event” and demonstrate that our only chance of thriving and evolving is to completely trust and surrender to the Fierce Feminine. He will outline the four stages of Kali’s dance as they develop, drawing on ancient Hindu teachings, and show that we are currently in the third stage, or the severe stage, which calls for urgent transformation, expressed in global holy action.

He will also discuss the three laws that govern relationships with the Fierce Feminine (adoration, surrender, and unrelenting shadow work), the six great blessings that will come after in each module, which together birth the Divine Human, and the four main healing abilities of Kali’s that are emerging in her dance (reconnection, resistance, resilience, and regeneration).

Our perceptions of ourselves, other people, the world, and the essence of the divine are all shattered by the lightning sword of truth that the Fierce Feminine bestows upon us. Such judgment dissolves all human vanity in a bath of black acid and flays all pretenses. Despite how awful this process is, it produces the gift of unwavering compassion for everyone and the extreme delight of unwavering love that emerges from the ashes of the false ego, which serve as the fuel for all enlightened activity.

The five types of shattering and rebirthing discernment that the Fierce Feminine offers will be highlighted by Andrew. First, awareness of the transcendent nature of reality; then, discernment of the bounds and delusions of the false self of the human.

Fifth, discernment into the imperative of putting love and knowledge into bold action. The first four are self-explanatory. The third is discernment into one’s own shadow, the shadow of others, the shadow of history and culture.
