During the National League East Championship seasons of 2006, 2007, and 2008, Jeff Cavaliere MSPT, CSCS served as the New York Mets’ head physical therapist and assistant strength coach. He coached some of the game’s most accomplished players, including pitchers Tom Glavine and Pedro Martinez, who will go down in baseball history, as well as Carlos Delgado, Carlos Beltran, David Wright, Jose Reyes, and Billy Wagner, to name a few. The National Strength and Conditioning Association has certified him as a Specialist in Strength and Conditioning (NSCA).

Jeff graduated from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut, with a Master’s in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Physioneurobiology/Premedicine (one of the top 5 universities in the country in physical therapy and sports medicine). Off the field, Cavaliere is a well-known author and presenter who specializes in baseball injury prevention and sport-specific conditioning. He has also published a number of articles on these subjects in print media, including several of the leading fitness magazines. In keeping with his mission to create the “whole and functional athlete,” Cavaliere also has a thorough understanding of nutrition that he has distilled for the general public. He both practices and preaches this knowledge with remarkable success.
