Dean’s martial education is well rounded, holding first degree black belts in Kodokan Judo and Aikikai Aikido, and third degree black belts in Japanese and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He continues to be a student of Roy Harris, and is recognized as a black belt by the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation (IBJJF), with affiliated academies around the world.
