6th Degree Black Belt Professor Caique is well known across the world. One of the few Black belts from the first Gracie Academy in Brazil is Professor Caique. Professor Caique was for many years the top pupil at the institution where Helio Gracie and his kids trained.

Brazilian/Gracie The world’s most effective method of self defense is jiu jitsu. Jiu Jitsu, which was developed by Indian monks, is the foundation of the martial arts. Around 1920, a Japanese expert known as “Count Koma” taught Carlos Gracie this technique after making his way to the northern region of Brazil (Mitsuyo Maeda). Later, Helio Gracie, a brother of Carlos, rose to prominence as the family’s patriarch and the principal architect of Jiu Jitsu.
