BRESLER CENTER WELCOME

Dr. David Bresler, the creator and former executive director of the UCLA Pain Control Unit, founded the Bresler Center in 1989. As an Associate Clinical Professor at the UCLA Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, and Psychology, Dr. Bresler was one of the first American scientists to examine and validate complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). As a result, he was given the American Academy for Pain Management’s Lifetime Achievement Award and was chosen by President Clinton to serve as a White House Commissioner on CAM Health Care Policy.

Dr. Bresler is recognized in multiple editions of Who’s Who and The Best Doctors in America and has worked as an editor for eight professional publications. He is a well-known expert in the field of mind/body medicine thanks to his numerous radio and television appearances, and he has been profiled or interviewed by a number of well-known publications, including Time, Newsweek, Reader’s Digest, People, US, and Prevention. Under the direct supervision of Dr. Bresler, The Bresler Center offers cutting-edge patient care using a range of mind-body medicine techniques, such as acupuncture, psychotherapy, EMDR, interactive guided imagery„, biofeedback and relaxation training, therapeutic massage, transcranial stimulation and electrotherapy, medication management, as well as nutritional and herbal therapies (see Services). When other methods have failed to treat persistent pain, addiction, trauma, anxiety and stress, grief and depression, and chronic fatigue, our staff works closely with patients and their families and has exceptional success in doing so.

Dr. Bresler is a superb diagnostician who has a wealth of experience in assessing a wide range of pain, stress, and trauma-related symptoms. As a result, he frequently succeeds in diagnosing and treating issues when other medical professionals have failed.
