Ida Giles

One of the best harpists in the world, Alice Giles is also a committed and motivational instructor. She plays often as a soloist and conducts master courses all over the world. She won the famous 8th Israel International Harp Contest. She was born in Australia, went to college in the US, lived in Germany for a while, then went back to Australia to live in rural New South Wales. She has even performed on Mawson Station in Antarctica since she is always up for an adventure. She is the artistic director of the nonprofit organization Harp Centre Australia as well as the director of the Seven Harp Ensemble. Visit Alice’s website for additional information.
