The footage seen was captured during master sessions for teachers and students that were led by Hiromichi Nagano (5th dan Judo, 7th dan Aikido) and Masayuki Amano in Kiev from May 1–3, 2012. (7th dan Aikido, 3rd dan Aikijutsu).
Italy, Ukraine, and Poland are under the direction of Sensei Nagano, a qualified instructor and the International Yoshinkan Aikido Federation’s recognized representative in Germany.
Previously, the Tokyo police’s primary teacher for special forces training was Masayuki Amano Sensei. The execution of the techniques in a single fluid motion is one of Amano Sensei’s aikido’s distinguishing characteristics. Technical actions are stronger, quicker, and more combative. Controls and retentions are modified for usage on the “street” and differ slightly from the traditional ones.
The participants were split into two groups for the four training sessions that were held on May 1 and May 2. Both sensei were on the tatami at the same time. 3 trainings were attended by everyone, including kids.
On May 3, tactics for using a police baton, fundamental techniques, and free execution of techniques were presented in master courses for chief teachers and senior students of the clubs. English: Russian
