Nehemiah Davis, your instructor

Award-winning novelist, businessman, and philanthropist Nehemiah Davis was born and reared in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His achievements to date, at just 30 years old, are an example of his defiance of all the obstacles placed against him from infancy. Since Nehemiah was just 2 years old, his father has been incarcerated. He was raised by his mother and grandmother in this harsh society and had many difficulties, such as being expelled from high school, college, and 10 jobs. However, at the age of 21, things began to turn for the better, and he made the decision to act, which led to the launch of his first business. Since then, he has committed his life to helping others through the Nehemiah Davis Foundation, which he and his mother founded in 2007.

Over 40,000 homeless people, older persons, and young people have been helped by the charity to far. Nehemiah’s most recent achievements include obtaining the President’s volunteer service award at the White House and the Steve Harvey’s Good Neighbor award for 2016 in addition to visiting 44 nations and winning awards and recognition all around the world. Nehemiah also helped start a drive to send 60,000 water bottles to Flint, Michigan residents amid their dire water crisis.

The Nehemiah Davis Foundation organizes eight yearly events, including a back-to-school event, a Thanksgiving event, and a Christmas event, all with the goal of helping people in need. It also provides weekly meals for the homeless. Nehemiah, a three-time author, has established his own publishing business to assist other aspiring writers in realizing their publication aspirations.

Last but not least, Nehemiah created a community center in his area earlier this year that provides numerous free youth activities, such as a writing workshop, guitar lessons, sewing classes, and singing training. Nehemiah’s diligent charitable and entrepreneurial efforts are all directed on helping others reach their full potential.
