But here’s the kicker: Darvas said he was more startled by how easy it was for him to make money than by how much of it he made. It makes sense that the more I looked into his narrative, the more captivated I was, and the more fascinated I was, the more I dug. I developed an obsession with the well-known Darvas box trading strategy.

I studied all I could about Darvas, including books, studies, interviews, white papers, and even a rare tape collection that provided some incredibly insightful information. I started to piece together the original Daravs trading strategy, which few have ever seen, after putting in countless hours of labor.

The fact that it is obvious why most traders lose money when comparing Darvas’ technique to many other trading systems is what I found to be the most illuminating. Surprisingly, I have yet to encounter another trader that uses the Darvas box strategy as accurately as Darvas would have.
