Kelly McCan, better known by his alias Jim Grover, is a well-known American melee teacher. Grover encourages violent self-defense (self-offense, not selfdefence). No jerking or feinting.

The simplest punches and kicks are demonstrated in the movie, including: a side punch with the edge of the palm, a side kick with the palm (whip), an uppercut with the base of the palm, a side kick with the elbow, a straight kick on the shin, a straight kick in the groin, and a straight knee to finish. There are also several combinations based on them that are displayed. In my opinion, several combinations resemble Inosanto’s panantukan.
