In this two-volume collection, Mikio Nishiuchi demonstrates the traditional Okinawan bo. Contents consist of: Vol. 1: Discover the most essential and fundamental bo skills. Shi shi no kon, the first and most well-known bo kata of all time, is shown in its original form. Vol. 2: Discover extremely useful bo applications, more complex techniques, and the authentic versions of the well-known katas “cho un no kon,” “Saku gawa no kon,” and “tsu ken no kon.” Master Mikio Nishiuchi is a legend in modern times and a master of the Okinawan Martial Arts. He also organizes a number of well-known martial arts competitions, such as the Okinawan-American Immigrant Karate/Kobudo Seminar and Tournament, which celebrates its 100th year this year. Master Nishiuchi has aided in popularizing Okinawan Martial Arts as Chairman of the International Okinawa Kobudo Association (IOKA)!
