Shi shi no kon, the first and most well-known bo kata of all time, is shown in its original form. Vol. 2: Discover extremely useful bo applications, more complex techniques, and the authentic versions of the well-known katas “cho un no kon,” “Saku gawa no kon,” and “tsu ken no kon.” Master Mikio Nishiuchi is a legend in modern times and a master of the Okinawan Martial Arts. He also organizes a number of well-known martial arts competitions, such as the Okinawan-American Immigrant Karate/Kobudo Seminar and Tournament, which celebrates its 100th year this year. While stitching technique for sutures is an art learned through practice, the knowledge of what happens at the cellular and molecular level in the tissues being stitched arises through science.
