Description
Sun Lu-tang (1861-1932) produced a very potent kind of tai chi by fusing two of the most potent internal arts with tai chi. This method is very excellent in cultivating internal energy, which considerably improves healing and relaxation. It lays a lot of emphasis on Qigong (exercise to cultivate vital life energy). The 73 Forms are characterized by quick, fluid, and agile steps that move like water in a river.
Following an overview of tai chi and a discussion of the advantages of learning the 73 Forms, Dr. Lam will instruct warm-up exercises and the 73 Forms utilizing straightforward and effective teaching techniques. He will break down each form into manageable portions and demonstrate the forms using a variety of techniques, including close-ups, repetitions, and diagrammed demonstrations. Dr. Lam will teach the fundamentals of tai chi and the distinctive Sun style tai chi energy throughout the sessions on the DVD.

Dr Paul Lam, a family physician, and tai chi practitioner and teacher for over 40 years, is a world leader in the field of tai chi for health improvement. Dr Lam is now focusing at preventive health. He worked with a team of tai chi and medical specialists to create several Tai Chi for Health programs since 1997.
