Salepage: R. Gress – C. Darío – Verbal Self Defense
Presented by two Masters of the Art of Combat, Carlos Dario and Ricardo Gress. In this DVD we will explore tactical and situational tactics that recreate realistic self defense situations starting from apparently simple elements, easy understanding drills, but of great effectiveness. You will learn how to act, use your voice, emotions and posture in order to defend yourself, all the elements you need in order to survive a violent situation. Beyond techniques you will always need to use your intelligence. This Verbal Judo DVD is an intelligent contribution. It does not matter what your style is, it is important that you learn and practice these important keys of real self defense. The SSD Special Self Defence is made up of three levels. This DVD is focused on the first level, prevention. You will learn how to fight and defend yourself through the use of your voice, your tone of voice and the messages you wish to transmit through the choice of your words. You will learn how to control your adrenalin rush that always happens in a real stressful situation when fear takes over and you will learn how to channel your adrenalin in a positive way. The most important motto of Specical Self Defence is “TRANSFORM YOUR FEAR INTO POWER”. This DVD may surprise martial arts purists that always work on the same level of reaction where statistically only 5 percent of real situations take place when you have an adrenalin rush. – Languages included in the DVD5-disc format: English, Español, Deutsch, Italiano, Français – Languages included in video download format: English, Español, Deutsch, Français, Italiano
Health and Medical course
More information about Medical:
Medicine is the science and practice of establishing the diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
Medicine encompasses a variety of health care practices evolved to maintain and restore health by the prevention and treatment of illness.
Contemporary medicine applies biomedical sciences, biomedical research, genetics, and medical technology to diagnose, treat, and prevent injury and disease,
typically through pharmaceuticals or surgery, but also through therapies as diverse as psychotherapy, external splints and traction, medical devices, biologics, and ionizing radiation, amongst others.
Medicine has been around for thousands of years, during most of which it was an art (an area of skill and knowledge) frequently having connections to the religious and
philosophical beliefs of local culture. For example, a medicine man would apply herbs and say prayers for healing, or an ancient philosopher and physician would apply bloodletting according to the theories of humorism.
In recent centuries, since the advent of modern science, most medicine has become a combination of art and science (both basic and applied, under the umbrella of medical science).
While stitching technique for sutures is an art learned through practice, the knowledge of what happens at the cellular and molecular level in the tissues being stitched arises through science.
