Sensory systems’ receptors, neurological pathways, and brain regions
What stimulates each system?
types of failure in sensory integration linked to each system
Clinical Observation and Assessment Interviews
Use a sensory integration frame of reference when analyzing case studies rather than a developmental or motor one.
Separate sensory-based from nonsensory-based behaviour.
assembling behavioral observations into categories for sensory processing
Construct interview questions
Create inquiries for teachers and parents to gather sensory data.
Create inquiries about engagement in daily life.
response collection into “diagnostic groupings”
Maximum Reimbursement and Access to Services Documentation
Set goals and objectives that will allow people to access services at clinics and schools.
Track development in terms of functionality
Report evaluation, progress, and discharge in the proper formats.
Create therapy sessions using Ayres SI concepts.
Examine the sensory features of the therapeutic equipment.
Adjust activities to the child’s requirements.

Description:
The majority of the kids we work with are incapable of taking examinations that call for a strong attention span and the capacity for following instructions. These kids can be autistic or have ADD. However, we must be able to recognize the weaknesses that are preventing them from making friends, participating in family activities, and learning at school.
You will increase your efficacy working with these kids today by broadening your understanding of sensory processing exercises!
As a result, you will be able to apply therapeutic methods to enhance the quality of life for the children you interact with on a daily basis. You will learn to recognize which deficiencies have a foundation in sensory integration. In this course, I’ll show you how to recognize sensory behaviors, identify underlying sensory systems that may be causing these behaviors, create treatment methods to encourage more participation in activities at home, in the community, and at school, and practice documenting your services.
