The Marriage Preparation Course
The Marriage Preparation Course
The Marriage Preparation Course is a five-session course designed to assist engaged couples or those considering marriage in laying solid groundwork for their future together.
The Marriage Preparation Course was created by Nicky and Sila Lee, the authors of The Marriage Book, to assist couples in putting effort into their union in order to have a long-lasting union. The training will teach you how to effectively communicate, accept and understand your differences, and be ready for any obstacles throughout the course of five days.
“It seems like the beginning of a trip, not the end of a course,” the speaker said.
It is for whom?
The Marriage Preparation Course is intended for both engaged couples and individuals who are considering getting married. Whether they are considering marriage for the first time or have been married previously, it is intended for individuals who wish to give their marriage the greatest possible start.
The program is founded on Christian ideas but is intended for all couples, regardless of their involvement in a church. To enroll in the course, you do not have to be getting married in a church.

What can I anticipate?
You and your date are hosted by a married couple on The Marriage Preparation Course and seated close to a few other engaged couples. The conversations between each pair are absolutely private.
Every course is different, but typically every session includes food, a useful lecture, and a chance for you and your partner to speak. You may converse in total privacy thanks to the background music. You won’t ever be required to discuss your connection with anybody outside your spouse.
You could receive an email with a Couples Survey within the first few sessions or before the course officially begins. This is not a compatibility test, but rather a questionnaire! It is intended to assist you and your spouse in bringing up essential topics for conversation prior to getting hitched. It also highlights the positive aspects of your relationship.
In five sessions, you’ll investigate:
First session: communication
Discover your personality types and communication preferences.
Session 2: Dedication
Examine the value and advantages of enduring partnerships.
Session 3. Conflict resolution
Learn about potential issues in relationships and how to handle them.
Session 4: Preserving love
How to keep your relationship going strong
5. Shared objectives and beliefs
Discover your shared priorities and work to strengthen your union as a pair.
