The Chart will be the main topic of this course. Everything we will be studying, doing, and talking about will have to do with cost, lead time, and volume. The mental component of trading, which is sometimes incredibly underappreciated yet is one of the most crucial things, is one of the other “themes” we will be concentrating on.
One percent of one percent
As a trader, the Chart should serve as your cornerstone. The price over time is represented on the chart. No matter the asset, every chart will display the same information: price changes over time. This enables us, as traders, to view things differently than someone who only pays attention to fundamentals or the news. More so than news or fundamentals, the chart reveals the direction that the price is most likely to go. Positive or negative news only speeds up the price movement or chart that we are already prepared for.
TradingView will be the primary tool we employ to interpret the chart using technical analysis.
