In this unique “Ancient Warrior Productions” series, Sifu William Cheung, a lifelong friend and training partner of the renowned Bruce Lee, explains the inner details of the classic Wing Chun method as directly taught by his instructor, the Grandmaster Yip Man. The B.O.E.C. fighting method, reflex training, chi sao, wooden dummy, butterfly-sword, and dragon-pole forms, as well as other topics are covered in this five-part series. Volume 1 includes the Chum Kil form, applications, Chi meditation, the Sil Lim Tao form, and the fundamentals, exercises, and footwork of Wing Chun. (60 min.) Volume 2 covers the one-arm/two-arm Chi Sao and Chi Sao applications, as well as the Bil Jee form. (58 min.) Volume 3 discusses advanced Chi Sao methods, stratagem, and strategy, as well as the usage of wooden dummy training. (59 min.) Volume 4 discusses the Wing Chun weapons system, including its use in fighting and the Dragon-Pole and Butterfly-Sword forms. While stitching technique for sutures is an art learned through practice, the knowledge of what happens at the cellular and molecular level in the tissues being stitched arises through science.
